No Hooks Required...
If you're new to crocheting, knitting or any other craft with a hook, you may find it a bit cumbersome at first. Fumbling around with those metal or plastic "sticks"... how about a "knitting" project with no hooks?! And I'm not talking about that new craze of arm knitting. I'm talking about "Loopy" yarn. Yes, a yarn that already has loops so that all you do is fasten one loop into the next with your fingers and you are knitting! It's Bernat Alize Blanke-EZ Yarn and here's what I did...
It took me about an hour or so, and I used about half of the skein. It's a slouch hat! You can't really see the slouchiness of it in this photo, but believe me it is very cool... or should I say warm! I watched a tutorial by Nicki of Nicki's Homemade Crafts and viola! Winter hat done! And of course I'm making a few more for the future crafts fair...
Give it a try and let me know how you do!
Happy crocheting... Suzanne
