It's Not Always About the Shawl...

I love working with yarn! I love making Shawls and Ponchos, but sometimes ya just have to follow your heart! And this time my heart lead me to this cute little baby cocoon outfit based on The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. Made for a 0 - 3 month old baby, I thought this would be perfect to make for a baby shower I am invited to!

Done in primary colors to kind of match the caterpillar in the book, I just love the way it turned out. I think I may be making more of these, and the pattern lends itself to all sorts of "bugs" too!
