Brrrr Baby, it's cold outside.....
Yes, it's cold outside, but is it that cold? In Connecticut, the temperatures would start to drop in late October. The leaves would start to color the trees and Fall settled in. PERFECT poncho weather! When you need something to cut the chill, but not a heavy winter coat. Now that I live in South Carolina, the weather sometimes confuses me. The other day it was 49 degrees out and so sunny that it felt warm. It's those days a poncho is perfect! I've been making ponchos for a very long time! Meet the Dreamers Poncho... my newest design! A variety of stitches that add texture and interest to the design, and make for a nice stylish poncho. I've added nice long fringe to one (because I just love fringe), and left the fringe off the other. Which do you like?! OMG, the colors in this fringed poncho are amazing! But let me tell you a little story about that fringe... I absolutely love the Chestnut brown that is in this poncho and that was the color I wanted the fringe. I looked everywhere in stores and online for a matching brown. I even ordered a few skeins that I thought would match, but none were close enough, so I had to buy more of the variegated yarn I made the poncho out of and rewind it, cutting out all that beautiful chestnut brown so I could use it for fringe. But do you notice the 2nd poncho I have here without fringe? Its made without the chestnut brown! It's the yarn I saved after taking out all the yarn for the fringe! And it's just as lovely, especially if you love the color blue!
The gorgeous poncho with beautiful long fringe is $80 plus shipping. The beautiful bluesy poncho without the fringe is $70 plus shipping. If either of these beauties are calling your name, email me @suzyyester@gmail.com
