Summertime Breezes means Summertime Shawls...

Summer is here in South Carolina! Warm days and cooler nights make up the perfect recipe for a Summer Shawl! These shawls are all the rage! Beautiful soft cotton against your skin, lightweight like a whisper on your shoulders, and a splash of color added to whatever you're wearing...

I love making shawls and I love working with cotton. All of these shawls are made with cotton yarn from turkey. There are two different types of shawls above. The yellow and fire orange one is a much denser stitch, meaning it's not as lacy as the others. The shells give it some depth and a nice 3 dimensional look. It's Big and Beautiful too! The others are a beautiful lacy pattern known as German Shells. All of these shawls are colorful and are wonderful summer accessories.

There are lots of ways to wear these shawls and lots of places... the beach as a cover-up, wrap it around your waist for a cute skirt cover-up, beautiful enough to wear to the next wedding you go to, date night, dinner with friends... every girl needs a pretty shawl! You can see more of these on Shawl Y'all's FB page. email if you'd like to know more about one of these beauties...
