Welcome to Shawl Y'all!
Welcome Everyone! The Pendleton Fall Harvest Festival was this past weekend and I met a lot of Y'all coming out to enjoy the day! I always have a lot of fun at the festivals, talking with everyone who comes by my tent. Let me tell you just a little bit about myself...
I retired in 2017 and promised my Southern Husband, Jim, that we would move away from all that Connecticut snow, where I was born and raised, to where he grew up, which was the Upstate of South Carolina and to Pickens County. We settled in Pickens and absolutely love it. I grew up in a rural area in CT, so where we are in Pickens reminds me of back home.
My Mom taught me how to crochet when I was very young, so I've been doing it for 50 plus years. When I retired in 2017 is when I really had the time to sit down and create all the pretty things you've seen at the shows. Shawls, ponchos and other wearables is what I'm known for, but I have started to bring some fun squishy animals that I have made for family and friends.
I share all my wares on my personal Facebook page and Shawl Y'alls FB page, along with Shawl Y'all's Instagram page. For now I sell directly from my FB pages, and I do a few shows in the Fall, and the Pendleton Fall Harvest Festival is one I've always done. This year I hope to create an official online store, but in the meantime, keep in touch by following Shawl Y'all's FB page and/or friend me on my personal FB page (Suzanne Yester) to see what I've got to share.
It was so much fun meeting Y'all! Thank you for supporting my small business by purchasing something! And thank you for stopping by here and checking out Shawl Y'all period.
