Connections and A Special Request... Baby Cashmere here we come...
A friend of a friend messaged me and asked me if I could make something from some baby cashmere she had bought when she was in Italy (many years ago). She's a quilter, not a crocheter, but as she wandered in the shoppe in Italy, she fell in love with this yarn. I happen to be a quilter as well, but crochet basically took over my life after I retired a few years back, but I still keep up with my favorite quilting store (Bernina We're in Stitches in Greenville, SC) and that was our mutual connection. Leslie, the owner of the quilt shop, had posted on FB, my FB post about a festival I was in and shared the photo I had posted showing my tent and all the creations I had made. That sparked the message to me about the yarn that wanted to be something... We talked about some of the things I make and what she liked... and so...
What does a cashmere Cowl Bandana look like? It looks like this! We decided that one of these cowl bandana's would be the perfect project. This beautiful cowl is made from that softest baby cashmere brought home from Italy! Thank you, Lisa for asking me to make you one of these from that beautiful yarn! The earthy tones really compliment this design and this is going to feel so nice on the neck... and since there is yarn left over... now onto that shawl 😊
